Precision Moves

Do not trust this company with anything you hold valuable. They do not care at all about getting your furniture to you in good condition - even items you especially requested to be taken care of. Then they lie and wriggle out of any committment to you so they will not claim on their "insurance."   After specifically being promised my antique dresser would be wrapped and transported carefully, it arrived not only broken but covered in dents from other boxes that had be dumped on top! Then they put off the problem, and ignored all my contact until they said the period in which I could make a claim had expired!  Considered taking them to court but unfortunately became ill shortly after the move: realising these contemptuous people were not worth more stress.

Living abroad and having recently sold our Edinburgh flat, we required a reliable and safe storage facility in the interim before exporting our items to the USA. One can search on the internet but much more revealing is a third party referral which gave us Precision Removals and Storage as the place of choice. Indeed the recommendation has manifestly been ideal. In addition Precision’s link to international movers provided a seamless transition, a feature that is completely missing from other storage providers. Having seen photographs of Precision’s export wrapping one can readily identify a thoroughness with the packing and inventory paperwork. Ease of invoicing (email sent two weeks before billing), efficient, intuitive communication from Precision’s Store Manager Thomas Hughes, who was always patient and polite, answered all our queries within 24 hours, thus giving us peace of mind. A useful feature provided in their regulations was to allow us to nominate a second person to have access. It has been a delight to work with Precision and we can confidently say our expectations have been exceeded. Their fee structure? Highly competitive. “Precision” - a very good choice of name. We can certainly recommend Precision Removals and Storage to people needing such services locally and beyond. Highly recommended.

I felt I had to write and say what a wonderful experience we had with Precision Moves. I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to. From start to finish Andrew was professional and kept in touch with us to keep us informed all the way along. The men turned up in uniforms on time and really went out of their way to help. I had to have a very large valuable dresser moved and they were so careful and just fantastic.There were no damages at all.
Don't hesitate to use this company. I have referred them to friends who have all been really happy.

I have recently used this company, And I have to say they were the best removal company I have ever used! The staff were very easy to deal with, the guys who came to the job were very friendly and even moved some extra items I had without complaint.  A very friendly and professional company. Will use them again. I have moved using other companies before and there was a lot of broken items when it came to opening the boxes, However I paid these guys to do a 'full pack' and every single item was delivered undamaged. well worth the extra premium.

I moved property on  Friday 3rd October 2013 for delivery to my Reading address on the Saturday 4th October.
The guys arrived early and waited in the vehicle whilst the foreman approached me and asked if it was ok to commence work to which I was happy to agree to as I was eager to leave for Reading.
The team helped me move house in October. They were prompt, efficient and a very careful with our possessions. There were a few changes on the day and the team adapted excellently to them. I was so impressed I decided to store some items with them for a month and then used their services to move everything to a larger storage unit in the north of england. I looked at using some much larger companies as well but am very pleased with the outcome of using Precision Moves.

We moved from a 2-bed flat to our first house on 20th December 2013. Had never used a removal company before and so was unsure what to expect. Contacted a few removal companies for quotes etc and Precision Moves were the only company to actually visit our property, and the quote they gave us was also the best. Responses to e-mails were quick and answered all queries. We had a couple of itmes that we were concerned would not be able to get out of the property due to the size, but we were assured before hand that they would get them out. On the day of the move the team arrived promptly and set to straight away. The large items we were concerned about were dismantled and re-built at the other side. The guys were all really great, friendly and full of banter, but also worked hard to get us packed up and in to the new house as quickly as possible. Would definately use this comany again in the future. .

On Thursday 6th Feb, I was woken by a knock at the door at 0800, gosh what a fright, I had forgotten that when I confirmed my removal I had arranged for a pack up "hit squad" to come and take the stress from me by getting them to pack my property.

On arrival the guys arrived in their company van & set to work in getting their materials into the flat to prepare to pack up. I felt that I was getting in their fair so I set off out and left them to it arriving back a couple if hours later to discover my flat was packed up apart from the living essentials that I required for my last night in the property.

When I arrived back the guys asked me if I didn't mind could they load stuff into the van for the day ahead the following day to which I was delighted as it saved time the following day for me which allowed me to get my stuff into my new property immediately.

The guys were fun, friendly and full of banter - particularly the Glaswegian one who conversed & communicated well with myself ensuring my needs were met.

I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone as they took the stress out of the removal as well as provide some light entertainment by slagging off each other.
